The Pros and Cons of the Newly Launched Oppo A57 in Indonesia

Oppo A57 officially entered Indonesia.  This smartphone targets middle to lower class consumers at a fairly affordable price.  For those of you who want to buy the smartphone, here are the advantages and disadvantages of the Oppo A57.

As is known that Oppo A57 is the latest series under Oppo to the country.  This smartphone brings various improvements from the previous series, thus providing various advantages that the previous series smartphones did not have.

However, the Oppo A57 is not without its gaps.  The A57 isn't a perfect smartphone, so there are some noteworthy flaws.  So!  for those of you who are planning to buy the Oppo A57, pay attention to the advantages and disadvantages first!

1. Standard Front Camera Design

As the latest A series, Oppo should provide innovations related to the A57 front camera.  However, he didn't and the Oppo A57 still uses the Water Drop model, which is a bit annoying.

As a result, even though the back of the Oppo A57 looks luxurious with the Oppo Glow, the screen display is quite standard so that it makes this cellphone like the previous HP series.

2. Not Using a Gaming Chipset

Oppo A57 is powered by MediaTek Helio G35 SoC, with Octa-Core Cortex A53 CPU and IMG PowerVR GE8320 GPU.  The MediaTek Helio G35 SoC is not a gaming chipset, and falls into the low-end chipset category.

Because based on benchmark testing using AnTuTu, the score obtained by the chipset is only 114,176.  So it is not suitable for gaming, but quite capable when invited for daily activities.

In addition to the standard chipset, the RAM and memory capacity of this smartphone is also quite small.  Oppo A57 is supported by 4 GB of RAM with 64 GB of memory.  Fortunately, there is an Extended RAM feature so that the RAM capacity can be increased by 4 GB to a total of 8 GB.

3. Screen Refresh Rate Still 60Hz

The next Oppo A57 drawback is the screen refresh rate.  The quality of the refresh rate of this smartphone screen is only 60Hz.  Even though the average smartphone released in the last few years, the refresh rate reaches 90Hz to 120Hz.

As for the 60Hz refresh rate, this cellphone is not able to provide maximum graphics when used for playing games.

4. Standard Camera Specifications

The last drawback of the Oppo A57 is that it has standard camera specifications.  This smartphone has a 13 MP main camera with an aperture of f/2.2.  This main camera is combined with a 2 MP depth camera with an aperture of f / 2.4.

While on the front there is an 8 MP selfie camera with f/2.0 aperture.  The camera specifications are classified as standard, because many smartphones with the same price have higher camera specifications.
